Our Community

We are passionate about being an active member of the community and providing a helping hand. Over the past decade Hermitage Homes have supported many worthy community groups, sporting clubs and charities. These include the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia, Royal Children’s Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust, Alzheimer’s Australia Vic and the North Melbourne Football Club.

In 2007 Hermitage Homes was the major sponsor of the ‘Cricket Rocks On’ gala ball fundraiser in support of the Children's Cancer Institute of Australia. The event was attended by charity patron and Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting and raised more than $430,000 for cancer research.

In 2010 Hermitage Homes ran its inaugural Charity Golf Day to support two charities; Alzheimer’s Australia Vic and Royal Children’s Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust. The event was supported by our suppliers, business partners and clients and together we raised $25,000 for valuable research.
